Want to give a memorial that will last longer than flowers?  How about donating a book to the library? You choose the topic and we will find the perfect book. Each book donated has a plaque placed inside stating it was given in memory of your special someone.

Have an avid chef, collector, crafter or dog lover in your life?  You can also give books in honor of someone's birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. Inside the front cover we will place a plaque that says the book was donated in honor of your special someone.

Stop by the Reference desk for more information or to pick up the donation form.  Or print out the form and drop it off at the library's reference desk any time.

Book Sales are a perfect way to donate to the library.  Clean out your bookshelves and donate what you don't want.  We will add them to our collection or sell them at the book sale.  

Shop the book sales! All proceeds from the book sale are given to the Friends of the Lester Public Library and directly supports library collections and programs.

Book sales are usually held bi-annually in the Spring and Fall.
