Digital Audio Books!

We are proud offer Digital Audio Books for your enjoyment.  Now you can browse and search hundreds of great titles and download them to your computer, transfer them to a portable device, or burn onto a CD for your reading and listening pleasure anywhere, anytime. Try it, it's easy!

Digital books are the digital versions of print books and can be used on a variety of devices such as PCs, laptops, and supported PDAs. This site offers digital audio books in the OverDrive Media Console™ format. To access digital books at WPLC Digital Books, you will need:

  • A valid library card
  • Brief access to the Internet
  • Free software for the device on which you wish to use your digital book (This can be downloaded at the audio book website.)

LPL Book Discussion

 

This group meets the first Wednesday of every month at 4:00PM and is open to the public. No pre-registration is required; you may attend as few or as many meetings as you wish.  If you would like to reserve a copy of the current month's selection, please call 793-7113.

Strictly Fiction Book Club
 

This book club will focus on genre fiction such as mystery, science fiction, fantasy, and romance.  Open to all adults 18 years and older.  Meetings will be held the first Monday of each month.  Questions should be directed to Chris at 793-7113.

NetLibrary is a database of electronic books. The books cover a wide range of subjects including computer programming, Cliffs Notes and  some fiction.  NetLibrary listings will now show in our catalog.
